20 Questions with Andy Abraham

Andy Abraham has answered 20 questions to the Northampton Chronicle and Echo ahead of the latest date in his History of the Big Bands tour, which is set to visit the Royal and Derngate Theatre this evening, the 12^th April.

Discussing his time on the X Factor, Andy said:

“The X Factor was good for someone like me to do, for myself, I did not have any expectations of winning it. What it did give me was a different career. TV and The X Factor brought me to a much wider audience and people seemed to enjoy what I did, so in that respect it was good for me.”

And speaking about his current History of the Big Bands tour, Andy commented:

“It gives you an insight into band leaders and that is through the songs of Big Band music and swing music. There will be some narrating in there and that is to give people an insight into the history, it is more about the music though and there will be a 13 piece band. So, there will be a bit of insight, a lot of fun and some great songs.”
