Continuing his nationwide The History of the Big Bands Tour, Andy is looking forward to the latest leg of the tour that takes place at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil Somerset on the 25th October. Andy will be entertaining his newest audience with some of the all-time swing, jazz and soul classics from Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington and many, many more.
Andy performs alongside a thirteen piece Big Band, led my Musical Director Brian Hill. The band really is the perfect accompaniment to Andy’s soulful voice, taking their audiences on a journey to the sounds of the 30’s and 40’s, when swing music filled every dance floor.
The tour has been inspired by Andy’s love of the swing and jazz classics, their iconic sound and he has brought them to a modern audience with his fantastic tour. Now drawing to a close, there are only a few of these fantastic show dates left with performances at the Octagon Theatre, Yeovil on the 25th October, Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on 2nd November, the Lowther Pavilion in Lyntham St. Annes on 3rd November and at the Dundee Repertory Theatre on 12th January.
