The Big Band Ball at the King Power Stadium in Leicester has raised a fantastic £50,000 for charity. The ball, held by St James’ Place Wealth Management and the St James’ Place Foundation was a wonderful evening of swing music and entertainment from the soul man himself, Andy Abraham. Accompanied by a fantastic 13 piece band, Andy wowed the guests with his amazing voice and renditions of some all-time musical classics.
The money raised was divided between the St James’ Place Foundation and Loughborough based charity Rainbows. With a dedicated hospice facility for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses, the charity relies on generous donation from businesses and the public. Andy was so pleased to play such an important role in the evening’s entertainment, helping to generate those all-important donations and entertain the audience with wonderful music.
Andy’s History of the Big Bands tour continues with a show date at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil, Somerset. Taking place on the 25th October, there are a few last minute tickets still available! Please visit https://www.historyofthebigbands.com/dates.php for availability.
